What’s more, they are suitable for different climatic conditions and can be used in tropical areas and deserts as well as in cold regions.

Optimal Material

We offer our liners in two versions with different electrical properties:

  • Antistatic liners discharge the static electricity generated by the friction between the rope and the liner so that no dangerous charges accumulate
  • Insulating liners ensure that signalling devices can communicate via the rope

Fansipan Cable Car: a 15-minute ride up a 3,143 m mountain peak

Did you know that you can reach the 3,143-meter summit of Mount Fansipan in just 15 minutes by riding the Fansipan Cable Car? The 6-kilometer-long cable car climbs a total of 1,410 meters, setting two world records in the process.

We are proud to have supplied 284 liners for the Fansipan Cable Car. These liners dampen the vibration over the entire length of the ropeway and were specially developed for use under extreme conditions. This confirms that our rubber formula also provides the perfect solution for these kinds of demanding applications.
