CSM (chlorosulphonated polyethylene) is an abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber that is resistant to UV light, ozone, grease and fire. Semperit CSM handrails retain a glossy colored finish over their entire service life. Although CSM does not contain any anti‐ageing ingredients, it is resistant to ageing and the material exhibits good dimensional stability under changing bending loads.
